Celebratory Day for ISO-Chemie

Not only was the company accepted into full GGF Membership and presented with their joining Members Certificate, but they were also presented with their Glass Charter Bronze Level 2 Certificate which highlights the health and safety levels they have achieved under the GGF’s Glass Charter scheme.



On joining the Federation, Peter Thompson said; “All at ISO-Chemie are very pleased to now be a Member of the GGF. We aim to attend relevant meetings to share our technical knowledge and to network with other companies in our sectors.”



Brian Smith, GGF Director of Home Improvement commented, “We are delighted that ISO-Chemie have joined the GGF and I am sure they will be a great asset to the Federation.”







On attaining Bronze Level 2 in the GGF Glass Charter scheme, Peter commented, “We are strong supporters of raising health and safety awareness and standards both within the industry and with the general public. Health and Safety should not simply be a stick to hit people with or some sort of “jobs worth” or “tick box” excuse.



It should be there to protect our employees, as well as the public, and done in a realistic manner that allows people to get on with their work. I believe the right policy implemented realistically will benefit both business growth and the guys doing the job.”



Phil Pinnington, GGF Health, Safety and Facilities Manager added, “Having seen the quality of the ISO-Chemie’s health and safety systems, it was clear they are focused on improving the working environment from a health and safety perspective.



On behalf of the GGF, I congratulate them on achieving Bronze Level 2 in the GGF Glass Charter and I have no doubt they will progress further still in the industry’s leading scheme for health and safety standards.” 



The GGF Glass Charter was instigated in 2001 when the glass industry took up the Government’s Revitalising Health and Safety Initiative. 



In partnership with both industry and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) the Glass and Glazing Federation launched the GLASS Charter (Goal; Less Accidents, Safer Sites).



In 2016 the scheme was updated in line with the Health and Safety Executive’s 5 year strategy focusing on a pathway to continuous improvement.
