A great show in Dubai this week, GULF GLASS saw many of Ashton Industrial’s existing customers, and a good number of future potentials, visit the stand of regional representative HIET where the Ashton UNIX professional heavy duty arrisser [seamer] was on show.

A big-screen video representation of fully automatic high speed seaming up to Jumbo sizes was a hit, generating new interest. Several such lines are already under construction for the region.

SEAMMAXX-PRO SOLO™ caught the interest of many. This manually loaded but otherwise fully automatic seaming line processes lites up to 2.5 x 5m in 20 to 30 seconds, takes half the footprint of a full high speed line, and is barely more than half the price!

Laser logo marking and on line edge deletion were also featured.

Cutting line output can often be doubled if the edge deletion function is shifted to the seaming line, where deletion and seaming are simultaneous – no cycle time penalty!
