Asahi India Glass Q2 Standalone Net Declines 63%

Friday, Asahi India Glass said that the standalone net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2007 declined 63% to Rs. 5.55 crores from Rs. 14.82 crores in the same quarter last year.

Total revenue rose to Rs.262.19 crores from Rs. 186.28 crores in the year ago quarter.



The group posted a consolidated net profit of Rs.4.36 crores in the second quarter ended September 30, 2007 from Rs. 15.28 crores in the corresponding quarter of last year. Total revenue grew to Rs. 260.58 crores from Rs. 188.09 crores in the same quarter a year ago.
