Asahi India Glass Ltd has posted 1.54 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 19.06 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2004 as compared to Rs 19.36 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2003.

The net profit is after considering the charge of prior period items of Rs 9.3 lakh.

Total revenue (net of excise) has increased 24.87 per cent to Rs 153.05 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2004 as compared to Rs 122.56 crore in the same period last year.

The shares of Asahi India Glass were last traded on the BSE at Rs 117.70 down 2.49 per cent.
