American Glass Research Continues Growth with Staff Additions

Agr International, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of several new employees to the staff of its American Glass Research division.

The three new staff members will augment the capabilities of the current team and provide additional expertise to the growing business of American Glass Research.  

Mr. Adam Bailes joins the American Glass Research staff as a Research Scientist. Mr. Bailes’ focus at American Glass Research includes fracture diagnosis, testing and glass container technology issues. He obtained his B.S. in Chemistry from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, and was previously employed as a quality control supervisor at a major US glass container manufacturer.

Mr. Brad Salitrik has been added to the American Glass Research staff as a Research Engineer, focusing on computer stress analysis of containers. Mr. Salitrik is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience that includes work with advanced robotics and the defense industry. He obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Peter de Haan joins American Glass Research as a Senior Scientist. The focus areas for de Haan include fracture diagnosis, glass forming issues, design interpretation and filling line evaluations. In addition, he will have considerable involvement with internal research projects and technical papers as they relate to container design, container performance and glass innovation. Mr. de Haan brings with him experience in architectural glass manufacturing as well as in the food and beverage industries with glass and metal packaging. He graduated from NCOI Business School, Rotterdam and holds MTS degrees in Chemical Technology and Industrial Automation.

American Glass Research offers a number of services to the glass manufacturing, filling, pharmaceutical, tableware, solar energy and other industries. Services include glass product design and performance studies, fracture diagnosis, labeling and decoration evaluations, closure problem analysis, production and filling line audits and product liability investigations.
