Ambi-Max Superlenght Units a Perfect Fit for Okehampton Glass

The Ambience brand from TuffX Conservatory Roof Glass has once again proved the preferred choice for a leading installation company in Devon.

The Ambi-Max option was perfect for an Okehampton Glass project which required longer sized glass units. The superlength units were incorporated into a recent, rural project which required LowE glass to be fitted. Originally the Okehampton team had quoted from design plans when evaluating and costing requirements for the installation.

Previously the company would have used 6mm glass units, however, having read about the 4mm glass Ambi-Max option from TuffX, opted to incorporate this into the sun room that was being built onto the renovation project as it was far more cost effective, visually more striking and meant there would not be any issues regarding muntin bar leaks. As a company with an established reputation for excellence across many sectors including both domestic and commercial, the management team has been impressed by the diversity of the Ambience range available from TuffX. Okehampton Glass was established over 21 years ago offering a broad range of products that include pvcu, aluminium and timber which along with highly regarded installation services have placed the company in a strong market position. With over 7 years experience at the company, Office manager, Roger Thorne believes that glass roofs offer radical benefits over polycarbonate alternatives which the consumer is quickly realising.

The Okehampton team is extremely selective regarding suppliers as they rely upon product guarantees and performance to help further substantiate their business. Roger Thorne comments: “Innovative ideas for the conservatory sector are very welcome, particularly when they remove technical problems such as muntin bar leaks which are very frustrating for all concerned. He continues, “The project looks impressive and we will definitely be specifying Ambi-Max on any new installations that require the larger sized units. We have always used TuffX as a supplier knowing we can count on the product quality as well as the prompt and reliable delivery service.” Graham Price Managing Director at TuffX attributes the success of the Ambi-Max units to simply providing an answer to a technical query that has caused installers large problems for many years. Additionally he considers that the number of self cleaning colour options available will provide customers with obvious benefits when approaching the consumer. Graham Price comments, “Most conservatory glass roof manufacturers offer guarantees but as the UK’s leading specialist glass roof manufacturer, we are in a unique position to provide the longest sized solar control, self-cleaning units to the industry from under one roof. It is very rewarding to see that we are recognized for providing the market with the right solutions.”
