AGR Expansion Continues

Date: 13 November 2014

AGR has added senior marketing executive Tim Barr to the staff to build awareness of the wide range of Testing & Analytical services and Professional Training that AGR offers to Glass Manufacturers, Fillers and the Pharmaceutical industries.

As part of the brand building effort we have redesigned our logo, started advertising and updated the website. We launched a new e-Newsletter and are using social media to stay engaged with customers and share relevant industry information.”, said Barr.

“We found that many of our customers are fully aware of some but not all of the services we have to offer”, said Barr. “Customers generally know about our ability to perform Fracture Diagnosis and it is one of our most popular services along with attendance at our training seminars. Despite strong recognition of our name in the industry, AGR wants to inform customers that we can assist through all stages of the glass manufacturing process (from raw material analysis to production line audits). We can also assist at the filling line (from incoming glass to line audits with an impact sensor). “AGR has also expanded their training programs both domestically and internationally with seminars conducted in China, Thailand, Germany, Poland, Russia, Mexico, Italy and Turkey in 2014.”

Barr initially joined AGR in late 2013 as an on-site consultant.  Previously, he was Vice President of Marketing at American Beverage Corporation, where he worked for 16 years, and also worked at Heinz, Keebler and with Nestle. Tim obtained his BA from the School of Journalism at Pennsylvania State University and his MBA from the University of Pittsburg.
