AGR expands expertise in glass manufacturing

Date: 9 April 2014

AGR has added expertise in area of glass manufacturing with the arrival of Peter de Haan. He expands AGR’s core capabilities through the application of his experience in identifying glass forming defects as well as the specific stage in the process where they were created.

We are not limited to only identifying the defect. Now we can indicate how it occurred and where it originated,” said de Haan.

Peter has ten years of experience with a leading manufacturer of architectural glass and eight years of experience with a world-leading manufacturer of glass and metal packaging for the food and beverage industry. He graduated from NCOI Business School, Rotterdam and holds MTS degrees in Chemical Technology and Industrial Automation.

One customer in particular has already benefited from Peter’s expertise. Carlsberg Brewery hosted two Auditor Training Seminars, one in Huizhou, China and one in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the accompanying photo, Peter is shown front and center within the group of Copenhagen trainees (sitting atop a Carlsberg bicycle for good measure).

Peter now works in the USA at our Butler, PA office and resides with his family in the area.

If you would like to attend or host a seminar lead by Peter de Haan or any of our experts, please contact us at: agresearch@agrintl.com or call +1-724-482-2163.
