From 21 to 25 October, the AGC Flat Glass group will be participating in the biennial Glasstec trade fair, a key event for the world’s glassmaking specialists.

AGC’s stand (Hall 11 – G 58/59) will be dedicated to innovation - covering over 600 m2, it will showcase the group’s latest technological and product developments. It will include recently launched products such as the ecological mirror Mirox 3G, AntiBacterial Glass and Glassiled, AGC’s innovative illuminated glass – and much more besides!

A truly original stand

AGC Flat Glass’s colourful stand has several different thematic areas for visitors to investigate. ‘The Innovation Lab’, with its wide variety of innovative glass products such as a new superinsulating coating for triple glazing and a new range of painted glass, will certainly be the main attraction. ‘The AGC Circle’ will give a dynamic overview of the group’s activities and products throughout the world by looking at fascinating examples of architecture, while ‘The AGC Green Forest’ will symbolise how the group fulfils its commitment to the environment through its products and its production activities. There will also be opportunities to meet people and discuss key issues, making the AGC Flat Glass stand an exciting, inspiring and unmissable experience for visitors.

Other AGC projects at Glasstec

AGC Flat Glass’s innovative ideas will also be featured in the University of Stuttgart’s ‘Glass Technology Live’ zone. Moreover, a conference led by IFT Rosenheim (the institute that certifies supervision procedures for buildings) will focus on a study conducted on behalf of AGC. The study dealt with the use of the latest high environmental value glass products in residential buildings (1). AGC will also be exhibiting its architectural glasses in its ‘Glass Shuttle’ outside Hall 11 to give visitors a better idea of how the products look in the light of day.
