Low-e price?

AS we are choosing between glass pane without low e coating and another glass pane with low e coating i would like to know the direct change of price when using low e coating in general. regardless to the affect it will have on mechanical loading.

In general Low-e glass is twice as expensive as normal basic float glass. Of course the final price is determined by whom you purchase the product. However due to its better thermal characteristic you will be able to reduce the heat cost inside the building and so amortize the investment made in low-e glass in about 3-5 years.
