Irish glass company Waterford Crystal is cutting its workforce by more than 230. The move is part of what it describes as a drive to make the company more competitive.
It is to seek 105 voluntary redundancies from the permanent staff and said 129 temporary staff would not have their contracts renewed, it said.
Permanent staff affected will be drawn from manufacturing, management and support divisions.
