Football fans can now show their colors in a bold new way, thanks to an agreement announced today by Visteon Corporation and the National Football League(R) (NFL(R)), making Visteon the officially-licensed provider of NFL Team Custom Windshields.

The windshields feature a sports fan's favorite NFL team logo with complementary graphics in the shade band across the top of the windshield. The sporty design is fused between the vinyl interlayers of the glass, making the colorful and vibrant logo a permanent, fade-resistant part of Visteon's OE-quality aftermarket glass.

"Automotive glass customization is a fresh new concept in the vehicle personalization market, and we're leading the way with this latest line of custom windshields," said Greg Gyllstrom, vice president and general manager of the Visteon North America aftermarket organization. Visteon also produces NASCAR Performance(R) Windshields, which feature the NASCAR(R) logo in black and white or color.

"Our relationships with NASCAR and the NFL are key in differentiating these unique products, because of the tremendous mass appeal of both sports," he said.

According to Gyllstrom, the vehicle personalization market in the United States is rapidly growing, with sales forecasts of more than $15 billion in 2008, up from $9.3 billion in 2002. Within this market, body accessories for light trucks is the largest and fastest-growing product grouping. NFL Custom Windshields are currently available on a wide variety of light truck and SUV models.
