Bülach, 25 November 2011. The Board of Directors of Vetropack Holding AG has named Tihomir Premužak as the new Head of Business Division Croatia from 1 January 2012.

He has also been appointed a member of the Extended Management Board.

Tihomir Premužak studied mechanical engineering and business administration and has many years of experience in the glass industry. Since 1999, he has been working for Vetropack Straža as Technical Director. He will now be succeeding Dragutin Špiljak, who is taking his well-earned retirement, as Head of the Croatian division.

Dragutin Špiljak has successfully cultivated the interests of Straža Glassworks since long before it was taken over by Vetropack in 1996 and has managed the company through challenging times of political and economic upheaval. Thanks to his prudent and forward-looking approach, Vetropack’s Croatian site has grown into one of Europe’s state-of-the-art glassworks and has become a cornerstone of the Central European glass packaging market.
