Suspended above a 12,604ft sheer drop, the Chamonix Skywalk is a new tourist attraction located on the Aiguille du Midi peak, France.

Billed as Europe’s tallest attraction, the skywalk offers superb views, consist of a five sided cube constructed from three layers of 12mm thick Pilkington Optilam™.   

The installation, which opened to the public on the 21st December 2013, took three years to develop by Compagnie du Mont Blanc and has the ability to endure a temperature range of 60°C and winds of up to 136mph.
