On April 26, 2011, JEB materials manager, Roger L. Thomas, presented a plaque to PNA Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager, Rex Tracht.

PNA was chosen because of its strong technical support as well as its ability to produce and deliver quality glass products. “We have a flourishing partnership with Pilkington, said Thomas, “They consistently deliver high-quality products and provide outstanding product expertise and service.”

The partnership between the two companies began in the early 1980’s and continues today, working together to produce a variety of architectural glass projects for the commercial building industry. PNA supplies JEB with an array of reflective and thermal glass solutions, including Pilkington Eclipse Advantage™ Solar Control Low-E Glass and Pilkington Energy Advantage™ Low-E Glass. Pilkington glass products are shipped on a regular basis to the JEB facility. PNA also supports JEB on high-profile commercial building projects where large quantities and special size requirements are needed.

“The JEB Supplier of the Year award is an honor and an achievement that we take very seriously at Pilkington,” said Stephen Weidner, vice president of sales and marketing. “This is an achievement that I believe is reflective of the hard work and efforts of our operations teams.”

JEB suppliers are evaluated on a quarterly and annual basis in accordance with ISO 9001 quality procedures. Each supplier is evaluated, by JEB, based on a set of five key criteria: product quality, packaging quality, order accuracy, on-time delivery, and general responsiveness.
