Stewart Engineers recently signed a new contract with Fives Stein Belgium to provide the StewartFloat® tin bath furnace design and technology for the expansion of the Italian glassmaker Sangalli Group.



This will be the second StewartFloat® tin bath used by the Sangalli Group. 



The StewartFloat® technology was used in 2000 on their first float glass production line located in Manfredonia, Italy.



The second float glass line of the Italian group will have a daily production capacity of 650 tons and be installed in the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region.



The start-up of the new line is scheduled for the first quarter of 2011.
