In 1982 the company Profilglass was founded by the Paci brothers. It took only 20 years and the company achieved the position of a leader on international markets producing spacer bars and decorative profiles for insulating glass. From the beginning the company has favoured a policy of continued investments. Since 2002 the company has entered also the market of rolled products, with an offer of range of products and competitive quality levels.



In 1982 the company extended on an area of 7/8.000 square metres where operated 20 employees. Now the company covers 200.000 square metres with 500 employees. In only two years the company increased its sales up to 70% and achieved a turnover of 240 millions Euros in 2007. Facing an increasing demand of aluminium Profilglass is today present in different fields: buildings, consumer goods, mechanical constructions, electrical equipments, automotive.



Following to its productive potentialities the company foresees a continuous sales increase. In the next years Profilglass will be able to realize 110.000 tons produced, exceeding 300 millions of the turnover.

In 2007 Profilglass exported about 600 million metres of spacer bar into 85 countries realizing 90 per cent of its total export turnover. With six continuous-castings lines, degreasing and tension levelling machines, the company has been motivated to continue its vertically structure of its production process in the production of aluminium strips and to achieving a superior market’s flexibility and reactivity to guarantee short lead time and excellent quality level.



The company is able to produce decorative profiles of different shapes and sizes. It has one of the more modern painting system and moulding department offering a wide range of colours and accessories necessary for the assembling system.
