"Solutia is very proud to announce the launch of Vanceva(TM) -- our new brand of Advanced Solutions For Glass(TM) products being offered to customers," said Victoria M.

Holt, Vice President and General Manager of Solutia's Performance Films division. Solutia's Vanceva brand of products will be used in superior performance glazing systems and are designed to meet the evolving needs of the architectural and automotive markets. The Vanceva family of products represents Solutia's response to customer needs and ongoing market research. Near-term Vanceva products will be available through partners for fabricating glazing systems offering superior benefits such as color, design and security. Further benefit enhancements are currently in development.

"Vanceva products offer architects, engineers and designers the freedom to think about glass as performing functions they never thought possible," Holt said. "Our overall marketing strategy is to showcase the superior performance that can be achieved with Vanceva products -- and to challenge the way we currently construct buildings and design cars," she added. "By raising the bar on one or more performance attributes over existing glazing systems, Vanceva is a strong complement to our Saflex(R) brand."
