Solutia Inc. (NYSE: SOI) will hold its third quarter earnings conference call on Friday, Oct. 25, 2002 at 9 a.m. central time (10 a.m. eastern).

The earnings report will be released at approximately 6 p.m. eastern time on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002.
A live, listen-only webcast of our conference call will be available at our website at www.solutia.com , under the presentation and speeches tab in the investor relations section.
