Scm Group, a global leader in technologies for processing a wide range of materials and in industrial components, and Tecnest, a key player in production planning and supply chain management software, have formalized a partnership that will enable both companies to strengthen their leadership in their respective markets.

Under this agreement, Scm Group expands its portfolio of products and services with MES/MOM digital systems – Manufacturing Execution System / Manufacturing Operations Management – and advanced software solutions, leveraging Tecnest’s expertise, technologies and long-standing track record.
Tecnest, in turn, is set to accelerate its development in global markets by seizing new opportunities stemming from its synergy with Scm Group, while ensuring operational and strategic continuity.

“Today, competitive advantage is no longer defined solely by machinery, but by the ability to integrate it into a connected, resilient and sustainable production model,” says Marco Mancini, CEO of Scm Group. “The agreement with Tecnest fully aligns with the Group’s vision, which is rooted in the integration of advanced technologies, digital innovation and value-added services to support companies in their journey toward operational efficiency.”

“Tecnest,” adds Giorgio P. Apolloni, CEO of Tecnest and shareholder alongside Fabio Pettarin and Mario Chientaroli, “will continue to operate in its market with the same solidity and close relationship with customers, partners and employees, fully preserving its DNA. The partnership with Scm Group opens the door to an accelerated growth path and to long-term business sustainability.”
