Our company was founded in the early 1950s by Pino Borghi and now employes thirty persons producing moulds for glass industries.

We produce moulds for all automatic processing like blow-blow, turn-blow, press-blow, direct pressed and centrifuge system. SAVE main specialization are articles for press-machine that can be opened in two or more parts and which require intensive study of the project and particular attention to design. Items requiring high professional skill and advanced technology during production. For these reasons we constantly improve our potential of production and we use the most up-to-date NC machinery, including turning lathes, high speed machining centers (3, 4, 5 axes) and electroerosion (CNC EDM electrical discharge machine), all networked with the tecnichal office equipped with powerful CAD-CAM software.

SAVE produces moulds for glass and crystal items like tumblers, jugs, vases, cups, goblet, stems, and for any tableware articles and has a great experience, achieved working for the most famous producer, in the production of moulds for others sector such as lighting (internal and external lighting items), perfumery and glass brick. Materials used are those which best meet production requirements of the Customer and they come with certificates of origin and analysis: stainless steel types AISI 310, 330, 420, 431 and other specials alloys, or alloyed cast iron for various applications, spheroidal cast iron or bronze-aluminium.

SAVE provides also:

-Mould set project and consultancy
-Welding and metallization with sprayed powder, stellite, TIG and PTA process with relative heat treatment.
-Routine and emergency maintenance of moulds already installed.

Certification of SAVE’s Quality System, obtained in April 1994 and then updated to new UNI EN ISO 9002 rule, puts our company in the position to answer promptly to market requirements and guarantees that the whole structure goal is to obtain maximum final quality of production and complete satisfaction of our Customers.
