Saratov-based glass manufacturer Saratovstroysteklo is to invest $82m in construction of a new float-glass production line, newspaper Vedomosti reports.

When the line, with projected daily capacity of 700 million tons of glass, is put into commission, the plant’s capacity is reportedly to increase by 63%.

Timeframes for the project have yet to be announced.
