Rexam, the global consumer packaging company and the world's leading beverage can maker, notifies the market that at 28 February 2007 Rexam PLC's capital consists of 583,366,615 ordinary shares of 64 2/7 pence each, each ordinary share carrying the right to one vote at general meetings.

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.



The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which to determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Rexam PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
