There’s a lot of support (and cash) already pledged and it looks like it’s going to be an amazing PIGS night at the Pitcher and Piano in Birmingham.” Originally launched in May 2004 as the Publicity In Glazing Society, a networking event for PR, marketing, editorial and advertising people within the glazing industry, PIGS has attracted some big names outside marketing in the past and therefore there are no exclusions on who may attend. There’s no need for a ticket to PIGS just as long as you have a link to glass and glazing you’re in!
“We first spoke to the organisers of PIGS to see if we could link it to the Triple Glazing Question Live debate,” adds Andy Jones managing director for Edgetech UK. “PIGs is an opportunity for the industry to get together informally over a drink or two. It’s only made possible by the generosity of all the sponsors who see the value of being associated with such a great networking evening”
