Regency has announced significant progress in the development of its new 420,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility at Omega Business Park, marking a major step forward for the company and the wider UK glazing industry.

While operations continue at the longstanding Leigh site, the new Warrington facility is rapidly evolving into one of the nation’s most advanced IGU production hubs.

Supported by strategic investment from business acquisition compounder CorpAcq, the move to Warrington enables Regency to expand production capacity, enhance quality standards, and future-proof its manufacturing footprint for the demands of today and tomorrow.

Since taking possession of the building at the end of September, Regency has begun installing a comprehensive suite of next-generation equipment. The first Glaston thin-glass production line is currently undergoing commissioning, with a second line being built to increase output and manufacturing flexibility. Installation of the first thin-glass HEGLA Galactic cutting table is progressing on schedule and expected to be fully commissioned by month-end. Two arrissing lines have already been installed, and the company’s new toughening plant forms a central part of the facility’s Phase One development.

A major milestone for the UK glazing industry is set for early 2026 with the introduction of Regency Triple featuring Corning® Enlighten™ Glass. Designed for high energy performance, efficiency, and ease of installation, the product aims to redefine expectations for triple glazing by delivering stronger thermal results without added weight or bulk.

“This move to Warrington is about more than a bigger site. It’s a step-change in what’s possible for IGU manufacturing here in the UK. Every technology we add and every process we refine is designed to give our customers an edge, so they can deliver high-performing, more efficient, and easier-to-handle insulated glass units to market. With Regency Triple featuring Corning® Enlighten™ Glass, we’re not just launching a product; we’re setting a new standard for thermal performance and simple installation. We want to reset expectations across the industry and help our customers go further. We’re building something which will transform the industry, and we’re excited to bring our customers with us,” said Steve Massey, Chief Sales Officer at Regency Glass.

Regency emphasizes that the move to Warrington represents far more than a relocation. The facility will serve as a scaled, integrated, high-precision manufacturing hub designed to support customers, partners, and employees for years to come.
