PRL Glass completes new manufacturing facility

Date: 28 November 2011

Officials from PRL Glass announced the completion of a new 98,000-square-foot manufacturing facility to add to its existing 150,000-square-foot glass and aluminum plants.

This new building will be the home of the company's new state of the art laminated glass line, automatic float and lamination glass cutting lines, and a 96-inch by 172-inch tempering oven, the company's third tempering oven. The addition of the production lines will establish PRL as an advanced, high-volume glass fabricator/manufacture on the West Coast, according to the release. The investment positions the company's manufacturing capabilities for future growth, and will help maintain fast lead times.

The facility is set to begin operations in January.
