Pioneer of curved architectural glass Tambest making considerable investments

Tambest Glass Solutions celebrated the launching of the extension of approx. 4 500 m² factory hall, the most outstanding machinery investments in the company’s history as well as a new uniform corporate image on Friday, April 23, 2010 in Forssa, Finland, with numerous invited guests.

In connection with the extension of the factory hall, the glass processing activities of Tambest, known as a pioneering company in the field of curved architectural glass, were transferred under the same roof, to production premises of approx. 10 500 m², with the production of Suomen Turvalasi, specialized in the manufacturing of flat safety glass.At the same time, the business activities of the companies were merged more closely together, and a new international name was created for the enterprise, to correspond with the more extensive product and service whole. In the future, the company will be known by the name Tambest Glass Solution Oy Ltd.

The new innovative machinery facilitates an even more versatile product range of curved glasses, increasing the production capacity of the company considerably, allowing rapid and punctual delivery schedules for also really demanding building projects.

Ever since the founding of the company, it has expanded and developed its operations, in a determined manner. Currently, the company employs approx. 68 persons, and in 2009 its turnover was approx. EUR 10.5 million. Along with the investments, the company will strengthen its position as one of the leading manufacturers of curved architectural glass in Europe.
