At the next GLASSTEC fair to be held in Dusseldorf from September 28th to October 1st 2010, Nuova Oxidal confirms its commitment to research and its suitability in satisfying the requirements of an ever-evolving market with the presentation of a few of its most representative products from a wide range of offers:SIRIO C and DNuova Oxidal has been satisfying the growing demand of solutions for the fixing of glass parapets with the implementation of the SIRIO range of accessories, a high added value series featuring rigorous technological standards, versatile applications and care for design.

Paramount component of the series is the SIRIO C product, a central clamp with adjustable wall fixing and a glass fixing both with and without slots, synergetic with the right and left SIRIO D end-clamp.

All are made in aluminum and ensure a 200 kg load resistence, the result of in-depth research in mechanical resistence and in full compliance with existing guidelines. The SIRIO C and D supports can therefore be employed in any outdoor and indoor environment, ensuring the best performance in both load resistence and stability.

Sunbreaking system for flat facades

Bearing witness to its commitment to environmental sustainability, Nuova Oxidal has created a new fixing system for sunbreaking photovoltaic panes applied to flat glass facades.

Sunbreaking blades are installed onto façades via the Vetra System series accessories, featuring care for design, high technological standards in compliance with existing guidelines, selected materials and a fully made in Italy quality in manufacturing.

The system is matched to the Vetra System range of supports in Aisi 316L welded stainless steel and are available in two different versions: ASTRA and AURA, with 150 mm axle base, and VEGA and VELA, with 220 mm axle base.

Sunbreaking panes are hooked by the adjustable screws of the ERA series, all different depending on the type of glass they will be applied to. Screws are also made in Aisi 316 L stainless steel turnings and ensuring high resilience.

Vetra System accessories thus offer a wide range of solutions for the implementation of sunbreaking systems on flat facades and the optimizing of energy consumption within the building.

SLIDING SYSTEM

The sliding system put in place by Nuova Oxidal research, enriched by new offers both in technology and design, allows for the implementation of several different solutions, including single, double, automatic and hand-operated doors.

Frame systems are suitable for both fixed and moving panes with no added clamps, and can be coupled with whatever type of fixing – upper or lateral, to the wall or onto glass.

The system is rounded off with a wide choice of covering finishings and seals, for both front and bottom, so that the entire sliding mechanism remains hidden. The series also includes different hinges, with or without slots.
