MoZrO2: Best In Corrosion Resistance

Plenty of glass producers took the chance to meet our international glass team at the Glassman South America to get insights about glass tank reinforcements and MoZrO2, PLANSEEs new material for glass melting electrodes.

Doped with small amounts of ZrO2 the properties of pure molybdenum can be improved considerably. MoZO2 offers higher corrosion resistance against molten glass as well as increased high temperature strength. The excellent thermal and electrical conductivity of molybdenum remain unchanged.
You didn’t have the opportunity to drop by? Our local sales teams will be happy to get in touch with you. For South American glass producers our PLANSEE team in São Paulo has been the tried and trusted partner for more than 10 years. Find all other local partners in more than 15 countries here.
