Most participants in The International Master Fitter Competition 2008 are known now. Today InterAutoGlass announced the following names: Daniel Andersen (Danmark) Raymond Csurda (France) Luca Gottardi (Italy) Toshiyuki Isohata (Japan) Arild Brattetaule (Norway) Stefan Bengtsson (Sweden) Jeff Olive (United States).





The competitors from Germany, Hungary, The Netherlands and Romania are not known yet.They will be the winners of national competitions, held before the international event.



The international competition for autoglass specialists will take place during tradeshow glasstec in Düsseldorf, Germany, 21 – 25 October 2008, and is originally developed by the AGE. The glasstec tradeshow already registered 1,000 exhibitors on an exhibition space of over 65,500 m². Messe Düsseldorf expects about 55,000 visitors on the leading trade fair for the glass sector.



The International Master Fitter Competition 2008 will be held on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 October. During the other glasstec days the audience could watch the Dutch and the German national competitions.



International Automotive Glass Federation™ started at the end of 2007. It concentrates especially on technical standards and codes, training programmes and health and safety issues. The activities will also be visible in national and international competitions for autoglass technicians or fitters.
