Mappi showcases new ultra high-tech and energy-efficient tempering furnace at GLASSBUILD AMERICA

The Italian company Mappi, a leading producer of glass tempering equipment, will be at the Georgia World Convention Center on 12-14 September 2011 at Stand 831.

This is where it will present its new ATS Eco Convection horizontal glass tempering furnace to the US market. The new machine features a GHBS convection system that can temper all the types of glass currently found the market. This includes coated, selective, solar control as well as low E magnetronic glass with a 0.02 emissivity index. The machine also offers enhanced tempered sheet quality and productivity. Another very interesting new entry is the Lammiflex glass lamination furnace which uses an innovative system to laminate glass with PVB film without any need for an autoclave or climate-controlled room. This process offers excellent production results at significantly low costs.
