Director of JSC "Ural glassworks" Gennady Tveritinov hoped that negotiations with the company Tandako - Hungarian manufacturer of float glass for the project of a glass factory in Irbit are in final stages.

Put an end to this issue prevents a number of objective factors, in particular, the percentage share of the enterprise. The Hungarian side is ready to enter the draft, as the financial and technical investor, the conditions for obtaining 75% share of the enterprise. Remaining interest will be the local representatives, but not yet specified whether this share to consolidated or broken into several parts.

G. Tveritonov believes that talking about starting a project to start production of float glass is premature prior to the signing of official documents from the Hungarian company Tandako.

The project has several areas of work:

- Float-glass production method;

- Glass recycling;

- Manufacture of insulating materials (glass wool).

Estimated volume of investments in new production of float glass can reach 100 million euros. Investor for the project HSS sought for three years.

Need to expedite the search process caused by the absence in the Middle Urals own glass production. As previously reported, the head of the Ministry of Construction Michael Stallion, told of the existence of four contenders for the implementation of investment projects on construction of glass plants.

These regional Minstroi confirm the need to expedite this process, because the Sverdlovsk Region in the current year exceeded the deficit of glass in the 60 million square feet, doubling the figure from last year.

New federal program to build social and other housing will be reflected at all levels of the construction industry. The intensification of the industry would require the introduction of new facilities and upgrading of glass manufacture. Therefore, leaves no doubt that the long-running search for an investor is uniquely successful.
