CalypsoCrystal presents CrystalDock, the first luxury stand for charging and synching your iPod and iPhone devices, handcrafted from pure crystal.

Classical, elegant crystal glass contrasts with the dynamic, purist design of these devices, providing a perfect synthesis between innovative technology and handcrafted precision. Whether at home or work, the CrystalDock in a total of four designs ensures the perfect first impression, ranging from classically formal to cool edgy styles. One thing all models have in common is functional and timeless design. CrystalDock stands are available now from exclusive retailers nationwide, and online from CalypsoCrystal.

An enviable accessory for the home or office

When it comes to a perfectly decorated home or office, enviable accessories are at the top of the list. The new CrystalDock collection by CalypsoCrystal consists of four different basic designs to offer the right model for every setting and fashion type: whether elegant and sleek for business in the office with the "Aurora", or something cool and edgy for the home with the "Beau" design. The exclusive use of crystal glass material and extraordinary attention to detail ensure a high level of recognition.

Purity of form with technical styling

CrystalDock developed by CalypsoCrystal sets a new benchmark. The casing is milled out of a solid block of lead crystal - a unique production method for mobile devices. The difference between crystal and glass is that the former contains lead oxide, which adds magnificent optical effects, a special breaking of the light and softness. Crystal can be cut, sandblasted or polished, since it does not chip as easily as glass. The added lead, makes crystal remarkably heavy adding to its unique appeal, whist cutting makes crystal beautiful and polishing it makes it shine. It takes more than 15 pairs of hands to produce a single CrystalDock.

With this product, CalypsoCrystal has utilized a sophisticated material and remained loyal to its roots and Europe's 300 year crystal making tradition. As an additional characteristic, it is possible to engrave onto the CrystalDock with a name or corporate logo - making CrystalDock the perfect gift for every occasion.

Uncompromising functionality

The CrystalDock conveys a feeling of high quality, exclusiveness and durability thanks to the choice of materials and it's finishing. In each product, a special connector has been carefully integrated allowing the charging and synchronisation of your device with any computer.

CrystalDock is compatible with all models of iPhone, iPod touch and iPod nano and also the iPod classic 80GB, 120GB and 160GB late 2009 model.

There are a total of four different designs available: Aurora, Beau, Celestia and Dune. The "Aurora" CrystalDock embodies the timeless and authentic design philosophy of the CalypsoCrystal brand in its purest form. A classic signature-style, luxuriously hand painted with Platinum and available in a limited quantity of 999 pieces. The "Beau" is perfect for making a style statement. This modern design is characterised by the art of its production creating a perfect alluring asymmetry. In classic Venetian style, the elegant "Celestia" has a magical enchanting design. The young and sporty "Dune" stands out with a fresh interplay of joyous waves.

Commenting on the UK debut of CrystalDock, Matej Kurent, Founder and CEO of CalypsoCrystal LLC, said: "We have responded to the needs of the luxury-gadget orientated customer by creating a unique device for their Apple mobile and music devices that they can enjoy every day. For the first time in the electronic device marketplace, we are bringing together the precision of European glass craftsmanship with functional design. We are guided by our ambition to create products that are lifetime companions for our customers, so not only does CalypsoCrystal stand for great design and craftsmanship but excellent value for money as well."
