A “customised” oven for glassworks requiring a flexible and functional machineThe long-standing experience of Tk ( the former Tk Teknokilns which recently joined the Satinal group) has led to the development of Lamijet Breva, an oven designed for those glassworks that do not target large production runs and therefore do not intend to invest in a traditional lamination line with autoclave. The distinctive feature of the new Tk oven is the ability to laminate PVB on flat glass with a maximum thickness of 50 mm without the need for an autoclave.

Another particular feature of this oven is its great flexibility, thanks to a heating time of 30 minutes and a process cycle of 17 minutes for 3 +3 thicknesses. Indicatively, for a 3 +3 thickness, Lamijet Breva ensures a capacity of about 350 sqm for an 8-hour shift.

Made of a sturdy electrowelded and sandblasted metal frame painted with epoxy enamel, the Tk oven has a work surface with PTFE lining; an electric heating system with maximum 2°C temperature uniformity and temperature control on multiple zones with independent temperature adjustment and thermocouple connected to a digital microprocessor. Also worth mentioning is the vacuum circuit with a high-performance oil pump, the possibility to adjust the vacuum level according to the type of material and the air/water cooling system. The oven accessories include an electrowelded and sandblasted loading/unloading pallet with a tubular frame painted with epoxy enamel; the galvanized steel rollers coated with PVC driven by a gearmotor as well as a position photocell for the glass loading and unloading operations. As regards the machine commands, the interface of Lamijet Breva is extremely functional and simple thanks to the operator pan It is controlled by a PLC with the possibility to store different programs much to the advantage of the operator. Moreover, in order to further simplify its operation, the user can choose the language of the oven interface.
