Hall 17 / Stand D55The following machines will be exhibited in working conditions:5 spindles high speed Vertical Edger Baudin Type 581 GV Shown for the first time at Glasstec 2004, this new generation edger uses high speed spindles which can turn up to 12.000 RPM.

It is fitted with special diamond wheels, which, combined with a new ingenious carterisation system reduce the noise level at high speeds. The concept, a result of 4 years of research, has been registered as an European patent in 2003.
In addition to the range of possibilities offered by a classical 5 spindles edger, this new type of machine allows the edging of thick glasses at a high processing speed (15 to 20 m./min). Speed is now only limited by the polishing wheels according to the required brightness.
The reduced number of tools, and consequently of motor spindles, required to reach this result, guarantees a good space concentration as well as a lower manufacturing cost than for a classic 8 spindles edger doing the same job at a slower speed.

Maintenance and the cost of consumables is thus greatly reduced.

These multipurpose, high speed edgers should find their customers among transformers of glass for construction work (architectural glasses, curtain walls, etc.), but they will also undoubtedly open new unexplored horizons in the area of flat glass edging.

8 spindles Vertical Edger Baudin Type 881E

This machine will be exhibited with all its options, including the new digital touch screen designed to make the man/machine dialog easier. It can shape and polish flat edge and arises, as well as chamfers from 0 to 60° on 3 to 25 mm. thick glasses.
Like the 6 spindles Baudin 681E edger, its excellent price/quality ratio makes the 881E edger a Best-seller in the glass shop world.

Multiservice abrasive belt machine Baudin Type 102 (Version 2004).

Presented at the last Glasstec show, this multipurpose belt machine is equipped with at frequency inverter and can use abrasive, diamond or cork belts.
A new turning table connected to a PLC makes it easy to grind and polish circular glasses and chamfers.

Janbac double head modular drilling machine type ECOGLASS

This manual version of the ECO1000, which was presented in 2002, is available in 3 versions:
- single head wall version ECOBEAM
- single head on framework with fixed table
- double head with foldable ECOFOLD table (dim. 2100 x 1200 mm)
It is this last version which will be presented, supplied with a plastic recycling tank and a laser cross positioning device.
Do not miss this opportunity to purchase a Janbac drilling
machine for less than 17.000 Euros, Ex-works, table
and options included.

Janbac NC controlled multi spindles drilling / notching station type 9000 CN GM2

This machine is an improved and enlarged version of the 9000 CN from 1992, which was until recently used for the transformation of household glasses and for automobile glass replacements.
The new version is especially designed for construction glasses: doors, shower protections and glass fences. The machine is equipped with 4 fixed electrical double heads and with a table capable of performing uneven as well as X, Y perpendicular movements. The 4 heads now cover a working area of 2300 x 1250 mm. Milling notches in the corners no longer presents any difficulties.
As an option, a high water pressure cutting head can be added, allowing the operator to do complex cuts namely on sharp angles.

Janbac double spindles programmable drilling machine with digital table stops type 2800 CN

This is the archetype of an industrial glass shop drilling machine, well suited for series as well as for special pieces. Totally flexible and usable at all times in manual mode, (top and bottom), this drilling machine will be presented at our booth with a pneumatical table with programmable stops. The table’s draggings have been perfected early this year in order to accelerate the speed and to reduce noise level by eliminating vibrations. The programming unit has a memory capacity of more than 100 programs including up to 20 holes positions each. The Glasstec machine will also be equipped with a laser cross positioning device as well as with the Janbac Drillclic system for quick change of drill bits via cones.
