Santa Paula, CA – Abrisa Technologies is pleased to announce that Ms.

Jacky Vel has been appointed to the position of Sales and Marketing for the company and its divisions, effective December 2, 2012.

According to Blake Fennell, President and CEO of Abrisa Technologies, “Jacky brings excellent leadership experience and expertise to her new position after a very successful 17+ year career within Melles Griot, a manufacturer and distributor of photonics-related components and subsystems including lasers, optical systems, and electro-optical components.”  Blake further states “Jacky’s experience in multi-level selling to US and international OEM and scientific customers as well as in the management and development of robust sales channels across 3 continents, will serve her well at Abrisa Technologies. Her expertise and industry knowledge will have an immediate positive impact for existing and potential customers and will position Abrisa Technologies well for a vibrant future of revenue growth.”

Jacky earned a BSc Degree in Applied Physics from the University of Portsmouth in the U.K. According to Jacky, “Global demand for fabricated and coated flat glass is showing tremendous growth across key markets including the display, imaging, and lighting sectors.  The breadth of manufacturing capability of Abrisa Technologies from simple cut-seam-wash fabrication for low cost displays, to the most complex IMITO thin film coatings for high performance touch screen applications is quite remarkable.
