HORN Glass Industries is further strengthening its presence in the Asian market, responding to increasing demand as well as growing requirements in the region.

Since August 1, 2025, Christian Wittmann has reinforced the sales team and taken responsibility for the East Asia region, which includes China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

With this expansion, HORN aims to further strengthen its sales activities in Asia and provide customers in the region with Mr. Wittmann as an additional point of contact.

Christian Wittmann is a long-standing and experienced employee of the company. He has been with HORN since 2005 and took over as head of combustion and utility department in March 2009. With his technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of HORN’s state-of-the-art and innovative melting furnaces, he is ideally equipped to provide professional consulting to customers in East Asia and to develop tailored solutions together with them.

As part of the new sales structure, Christian Wittmann will henceforth be responsible for the East Asian markets, while Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Ulrich Imhof will continue to oversee the regions of Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Sri Lanka. Sebastian Gallenberger will remain responsible for the Thailand region.

With this setup, HORN is optimally positioned to meet the demands of the Asian market and to further expand its successful collaboration with customers in the region.
