Guardian Invites you to celebrate the launch of our New Magnetron Glass Coater

Guardian Industries UK Ltd is pleased to announce that the installation of their new £35 million world leading magnetron coater is now complete.All elements of the coater installation have now been signed off ahead of schedule and handed over to Guardian’s Process Group and Production Team.

The coater is now operational on 3 shifts.

Over the next few weeks Guardian’s Process Group and Production team will be working on the characterisation and calibration of all the cathodes ready to produce ClimaGuard A+. The product will undergo full product testing at our Research and Development centres ahead of the start of production during October.

We want to celebrate this major milestone in our development by inviting all our customers to come and see this exciting new installation. We are having three open days on Tuesday 16 October, Wednesday 17 October and Thursday 18 October when you will be welcome to come and visit us for a few hours at your convenience for a tour of the coater and our other operations.
