The National Architects Committee of the National Glass Association is pleased to announce that Guardian Industries and Petersen Aluminum are sponsoring the 2011 Architects Forum being held September 13-14, 2011.

We are looking forward to being involved in this inaugural event for architects as they are so important to the world of glass. We like to say they are the ones who 'build with light'”, says Earnest Thompson of Guardian Industries. One of the world's largest manufacturers of float glass and fabricated glass products, Guardian Industries is a significant player in energy efficient building materials and glass solutions. “We think it is important to sponsor events where architects and industry share ideas for building a sustainable future.”

Mike Petersen of Petersen Aluminum agreed, “This forum is a great way for architects to network and learn more about the glass and glazing industry while earning continuing education credits.” Petersen Aluminum has been a metals service center to the architectural metal industry since 1965.

The NGA’s 1st Annual Architects Forum, held in conjunction with GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window, and Door Expo, is being held September 13-14, 2011 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. The two day forum features educational seminars, peer-to-peer sharing, networking with glass industry professionals, and access to the GlassBuild America trade show floor.

The Architects Forum is presented by the NGA in conjunction with the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA). For more information, www.glass.org/education-training-af.html or www.glassbuildamerica.com for more information.
