GPD South America 2010 - reminderThe fast growth being experienced in South America is offering many new possibilities to the whole glass industry including suppliers and designers.

The significance of this market area has also been boosted since the 2016 Olympics games will be held in Brazil.

It is for these reasons that the first edition of Glass Performance Days South America (GPD SAME) will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 6th to 7th May, 2010. The event is expected to attract participants (including speakers) from different parts of the world. It will be held in conjunction with the Glass South America Exhibition (6-8 May, 2010) organized by Nürnberg Messe.

Main GPD SAME focus

1. How to improve glass companies profitability

2. Architectural design – new creative buildings and interior design

3. The latest glass technology – energy efficiency, new products and application

4. Solar and glass industry – new opportunities The Conference will be divided to Architectural design and glass technology sessions.

We are now calling for papers. Abstracts should be submited (max 150 words per abstract) as email attachment to Jorma.vitkala@gpd.fi. We are also inviting proposals for practical workshops on specific subjects.

Notification of accepted or rejected abstracts will be sent soon after the deadline. Therefore, to avoid disappointment, we urge you to submit your abstract(s) before or by the deadline January 31, 2010.
