The FIT Show 2017 sees Glazpart extend its range of trickle vents with the launch of the Mk2 Link Vent the most compact, efficient and inconspicuous of trickle vent product ranges.

Banbury-based Glazpart, is a specialist injection moulding company with extensive experience in the fenestration industry, employing 96 staff at its ISO 9001:2008 certified site, producing millions of mouldings each month.

Today house owners are looking for those quality final touches to dress the windows that are a significant investment.

Trickle vents that blend into the window add one of those touches. The FIT Show 2017 sees Glazpart extend its range of trickle vents with the launch of the Mk2 Link Vent the most compact, efficient and inconspicuous of trickle vent product ranges.

The new design reduces the external canopy depth by over 1/3 from 37mm to 25mm whilst meeting the minimum requirements of approved document – part F significantly improving the external aesthetic of the window.

Available in two sizes 2500 and 5000 EQA the product features new location clips which speed up fitting whilst also improving location accuracy both vertically and horizontally during installation.

The clips centre the vent in the rout and minimise lateral movement and hold the vent in position during installation reducing fitting time and even fix the vent to the window.

This tried and tested principle of using the clips will fix the vent is a secure option reducing even more fitting time and should you wish to screw fix the vents, you still can. There are also no end caps to be lost in transit or on site!

Mk2 Link Vents benefit from being launched complete with over 40 finishes from moulded solid colours and woodgrain matches.

As currently available on the Mk1 Link Vent, Slim line, Standard and Modular trickle vents from the Glazpart stable of quality ventilation products.

There is something for everyone in the 2017 Glazpart trickle vent range. The trend is to add value to the final product as windows are dressed with window components finished to match the window profile or system.

This is achieved using the latest technology as your customer’s demand matching component finishes.

According to Dean Bradley – Sales and Marketing Manager

“The Mk 2 Link Vent is one of the most significant trickle vent developments in recent times. Its versatility, aesthetic improvements and high performance combined with its colour options offer great benefits to fabricators, installers and customers. Its premium design offers the potential to add value with customers willing to pay for that finishing touch, delivering the best “hidden” vent on the market. The vents match the increasing demand for coloured and finished products. Customers are evermore choosing colour and wood grain products to add kerb appeal with colour coordinated window-wear, especially prominent products like trickle vents”

These new finishes are also available to dress window system components where traditional methods cannot be used, the trickle vents from Glazpart are just an example of what can be achieved, with over 500 finishes plus colour match to any RAL number all available to dress your products in the future.
