When the doors of the glasstec fair opened on Tuesday, October 21 at 9 a.m., Ensinger's trade fair stand was perfectly set up and looking in great shape.

The Thermix® trade team was ready to receive visitors and looking forward to the next few days at the fair.

Only a few days before, the things had looked very different on the stand. But many hands made light work of transforming the chaos into order. Crates had to be unpacked, graphic displays put up on the walls, products sorted and a whole lot of organizational issues resolved to get the stand ready promptly for the opening of the fair. A great achievement by a well-functioning team which can be relied upon 100% to get things right. There is no room for error.

The open-plan design made the trade fair stand easily accessible, attracting the maximum number of visitors. The bright, inviting atmosphere, the large-scale displays and the graphically presented products met with an enthusiastic response and invoked plenty of positive feedback. Visitors were particularly intrigued by our manual bending machine, which could be used on the stand to test bending our Thermix® spacers. Also attracting a lot of interest was the manual roll forming machine for the creation of circular models, for instance for portholes in doors.

Overall, the trade fair was marked by a good number of highly productive talks and produced plenty of new contacts. "There were always at least six of us on the stand, which allowed us to cope easily with the influx of visitors", explained Albert Lingens, Head of Sales for Thermix®. "The visitors we received on the stand were from all over the world - we provided information in German, French and English - as well as our local Swabian dialect!"

The interest of potential buyers visiting the stand was focused primarily on the extended range of Thermix® spacers and muntin bars. Visitors were also delighted to be treated to either a slice of Viennese Sachertorte or a filled Sacher chocolate on the stand.

Once again, a sincere vote of thanks to all those who took the time to drop by our Thermix® trade fair stand.
