In response to customer demand, the Glaive is the world's first radius tipped heavy duty utility blade designed to fit most utility knife handles and box cutters.
The razor-sharp, curved shape of Landsknecht Industries’ Glaive utility blade offers users added capabilities over any normal utility blade and its radius tip offers 175 percent more sharpened edge. It glides along surfaces more easily, eliminating snagging and catching. The steel cutting edge stays sharper longer than ordinary utility blades.
The Glaive is constructed entirely out of high-carbon steel. Its increased length allows the cutting of thicker material such as foam and insulation in only one pass. Scraping and chiseling actions, which are impossible with the trapezoidal shaped blade, are now possible with the forward edge of the Glaive. Our revolutionary, patent pending radius tip keeps sharp points away from surfaces during scraping, decreasing the chances of damaging coated or delicate surfaces.
According to Landsknecht president Troy Walker, “This new utility blade is the ultimate tool for almost any application. The radius tip is one-of-a-kind, offering more cutting edge which, in turn, makes it usable in more industries.”
A new realization of an already existing and proven tool, the Glaive offers a versatility unmatched by the old-fashioned utility blade, making it usable in almost any application or industry.
