Gerresheimer at CPhI 2012 – The healthcare sector needs innovative packaging solutions

Düsseldorf,  September 17, 2012 – Gerresheimer’s comprehensive portfolio of products extends from simple pharmaceutical vials to complex drug delivery systems.

It will be providing information about new solutions for the pharma industry in the Innopack area of the CPhI fair in Madrid from October 9 to 11, 2012 (Stand 10E64). Two Gerresheimer experts will also be talking about trends and innovations.

Dr. Wolfgang Dirk, Product Manager Parenteral and Business Development at Gerresheimer Plastic Packaging, will be talking about the plastic MultiShell® vials at Speakers Corner on Wednesday October 10 from 2 - 2.25 p.m.


Bernd Zeiss, Manager Technical Pre-Sales Support at Gerresheimer Tubular Glass will also be at Speaker’s Corner on Wednesday October 10 from 2.30 - 2.55 with a presentation entitled “From primary packaging to drug delivery system - innovations and intelligent solutions for injectabilia.”


The Tubular Glass Division is presenting a range of prefillable syringes, including its flagship RTF® sterile syringes. Tubular glass is the input material for a comprehensive range of high quality pharmaceutical vials, ampoules and cartridges in numerous filling sizes and design variants.


The Moulded Glass division manufactures high-quality injection and infusion bottles as well as dropper and tablet bottles of various types, shapes and sizes in glass categories I, II and III.


As a full-service provider, Gerresheimer Medical Plastic Systems has a portfolio covering all stages of the development and production process.
