GANA Releases 23rd Glass Informational Bulletin

The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has released its 23rd Glass Informational Bulletin (GIB).

Titled Blast Mitigating Glazing, the GIB looks at various tests and standards in the industry for laminated glazing applications constructed to mitigate the hazards of a blast or explosion outside of a building incorporating these applications."The GANA Protective Glazing Committee created this document to help the industry understand testing and performance requirements that have been set for blast resistant glazing," said Valerie Block of DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions and chair of the committee."The Blast Mitigating Glazing informational bulletin is a good place to start for architects, building owners or fabricators interested in learning the basics around blast resistant glazing."
