Fenestrtion China 2012 is postponed to Nov.23-25 2012

Date: 10 October 2012

Since “the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China” is scheduled to start on Nov. 8th in Beijing, Fenestration China 2012 will be postponed to Nov. 23-25.The National Congress of the Communist Party of China is held once every four years.

In this meeting, the congress will elect new president, premiers and other major roles in Chinese government, thus making it the most important meeting in China. In the past, it was always held in October, which left the exhibition with no reasons to consider such factor for scheduling. However, our organizer received an official notification from the government on Sep.29, stating that because of some recent political issues, the National Congress is postponed to Nov, 8th, which is exactly the scheduled date of Fenestration China. During the congress, the Beijing Municipality is likely to implement traffic control measures in a very wide area, which will bring inconveniences for visitors to travel, so the organizer has made a decision to postpone the exhibition. Until now, all of exhibitions in Beijing scheduled during the second half of October and the first half of November have been postponed due to this notification from the government.

By now, the organizing committee has notified all exhibitors and they all understand tremendously well of the impact out of such force majeure, and have all provided us with huge support in cooperation. At present, 426 exhibitors are making preparations for their exhibits according to their original plans and will attend this year’s Fenestration China on time. In the next 20 days, we will inform of such notification through SMS, e-mails, telephones and all the media at home and abroad. We are fully confident that this exhibition will achieve a full success as originally planned.

We greatly apologize for any inconveniences caused by this incident. If you need any help, please feel free to contact our organizing committee, and we will spare no efforts in providing you with assistance. At the same time, we hereby make a commitment: for overseas visitors, who the organizing committee have sent invitations for visa applications to, we will issue the new invitation letters for your visa applications free of charge; for all visitors who are about to apply, we will take care of this free of charge.

Notice is hereby given!
