Date: 3 July 2012

All the innovations in the field of energy-efficient building envelopes in Hall 11. Highly informative is the “Facade-Center” integrated in the trade fair.

Here institutes and associations are presenting themselves in the “Competence Centre Glass, Window Facade”, while companies are showing future-orientated product solutions for glass facades as mock-ups in the neighboring glass technology live special show.

This special show devised by architect Prof. Stefan Behling and his team from the Institute for Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart entitled “Innovative glass functions” takes a look at the future of glass – not only in glass facades. In this connection, it is also dedicated for example to the themes of aesthetics/design, interior/interior design and innovative glass products/bent glass.

On 25 October, the supporting symposium with free admission for all visitors, will be dealing with “Integrative concepts for transparent building shells”.
