Cuttable dummy modules for solar tiles

Date: 9 June 2011

The Saint-Gobain solar group is presenting its Solar JustCut dummy modules. These dummy modules have been developed as a supplement for the Solar Sunlap tile system.

They can be used for covering areas on a roof that are unsuitable for solar tiles, at roof edges and chimneys, for example.

The dummies are made from glass-fiber reinforced ceramic material and can be cut to size on site to fit the roof, using an angle grinder. The company is also extending its guarantee period to twelve years on Solar Sunstyle, Solar Eclipse and Solar Sunlap solar roofing tiles and on the Solar Suneka module.
