C.R. Laurence Continues North American Expansion Plans, Targeting the East Coast with Major New CRL-U.S. Aluminum Super Center

Date: 15 August 2014

New Super Center More than Doubles the Company's Footprint in the New York Tri-State Area - Less than one mile away from the company's previous location in the New York Tri-State area sits the new CRL-U.S.  Aluminum Super Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.

It will house both CRL and U.S. Aluminum full product lines.

This completely renovated 150,000 sq. ft. building is devoted to distribution and light manufacturing efforts that will support the region's thriving economy and continued demand for C.R. Laurence and U.S. Aluminum products and services. This ongoing North American growth and expansion initiative also sees the company introduce its largest ever showroom concept inside the new Secaucus, New Jersey Super Center, allowing C.R. Laurence to showcase its new and most popular products in a new way for local customers.

Service Center Managers Peter Ascherl and Jerry Kempa will oversee daily operations of the Super Center alongside new Production Manager Frank Maconi, who comes to C.R. Laurence from Blue Star Glass, Inc. Also, U.S. Aluminum Technical Specialist Sam Yamout will join the team to provide project support on the U.S. Aluminum brand.

"Thanks to C.R. Laurence Company, I am able to point to an American manufacturing success story right here in Secaucus," says Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli. "C.R. Laurence is an important corporate citizen of Secaucus, providing glass and other materials to major industries, including construction and automotive, as well as the architectural community. Through its investment to relocate and expand its Secaucus facility, C.R. Laurence will be able to increase its product line and create new employment opportunities. This is music to the ears of any American mayor, and I am looking forward to joining the C.R. Laurence management team at the grand opening in September of their new facility at 60-70 Seaview Drive. Congratulations to C.R. Laurence."

"The New York Tri-State market remains a key component of our overall growth strategy," says Lloyd Talbert, President of C.R. Laurence. "The new Super Center enhances our ability to provide this region with better service, localized fabrication and project support, and ultimately shorter lead times."

The new CRL-U.S. Aluminum Super Center in Secaucus, New Jersey is scheduled to open in September 2014. For more information, please visit crlaurence.com/locations.
