Corpotrade was awarded the biggest two projects in the MENA Region

             Project 1: AZIN PROJECT - SAUDI ARABIAOn May 4th and 5th, during MENASOL 2010 seminar in Egypt, Eng.

Louay Abdulrahim from AZMEEL INTERNATIONAL announced the launch of AZIN SOLAR project to be running in 2012. With almost five years of preparation, AZIN SOLAR announcement marks the beginning of the execution phase of this milestone project. Located in Al Jubail-2 industrial area, AZIN’s land covers around 400,000 m², will house four major subdivisions:





  • AZIN GLASS: A fully automatic and robotic glass processing and coating facility. This huge productivity facility takes advantage of the latest innovation in glass processing and the newest product in glass coating. Coupled with R&D department, AZIN GLASS is intended for  new market innovation and the highest quality products.

  • AZIN FLOAT: the latest technology in Solar Float Glass production. With the special Low-Iron glass production, AZIN FLOAT will be targeting the green building market, thus pushing forward the Zero-emission orientation in the Arab World.

  • AZIN SOLAR: Thin-film dedicated full module manufacturing for the BIPV and green building sector. Equipped with the latest automation technology, the new opaque or semi-transparent modules will allow architects to fully use their plans towards cleaner energy sources.

  • AZIN ENERGY: A specialized module mounting division to guarantee the best and most appropriate clean energy integration.

These “state of art” facilities were designed and equipped by CORPOTRADE (Cyprus) Ltd. team.             Project 2: SMART GLASS COMPANY - EGYPT



Al Fayoum province, in Egypt, is witnessing the construction of one of the biggest glass processing factories in the region. SMART GLASS Company is located over 40,000m² land plot, and covers the latest technology in architectural flat glass processing for jumbo sheets. Currently managed by I.G.M. Consulting, the project will be fully operational during the fourth quarter of year 2010.



This facility, totally designed and equipped by CORPOTRADE (Cyprus) Ltd., will house two automatic jumbo cutting lines from Hegla (Germany) with the automatic gantry system, a fully automatic grinding/drilling line and a lamination line from Benteler (Germany) with the appropriate autoclave from Scholz (Germany), a state of the art silk printing line from Steinmann (Germany), the latest tempering technology from Glassrobots (Finland) for unprecedented flatness rate, the first fully robotic double glazing line with Warm-edge technology for edgetech’s SuperSpacer™ (USA) and robotic sealant supplied by FOR.EL.(Italy) that can process any shapes you like with speed and accuracy and the latest optimization software from Albat & Wirsam (Germany) for the whole factory management. Also, worth mentioning, Intermac (Italy) and Adelio Lattuada’s (Italy) machineries for conventional processing.



Smart Glass Company is a concept that takes into consideration the future and market development. All future upgrades were planned from day one in order to fully increase the productivity and service level without affecting the current factory capability and services.
